In a fast-paced world, there is often little time for finding interesting people to date. FastLife fills this niche. With FastLife, you’ll find yourself in laid back, fun venues, speaking to a range of interesting people. You simply choose where you’d like to go, the sorts of people you’d like to meet, and when you can attend. Then you pay a small fee and you’re set.

At the event you may be provided with a time limit in which to chat with people, with topics to discuss, or you might simply mingle. Venues range from bars and restaurants, to outdoor activities and events. What’s more, you get to choose which events suit you, meaning you won’t have to put up with something that simply isn’t your scene.

You can also search for an event based on your price limit, the dates you’re available, and the sorts of people who will attend, although we would like to see a few more search options. It would also be handy if you could see who had already signed up for an event, but we do understand that this might be seen as a security risk. 

So, you’ve found an event you’d like to attend, what’s next? Well, you normally have to pay in advance to make sure you’re on the guest list, with prices coming in at around $20. Of course, there are events which are a little cheaper, and some which are more expensive; it all depends on what you’re looking for.

Events are run by professional hosts, who make sure that everything goes smoothly, as well as helping to introduce you to other members. They are experienced socialites, able to bring people out of their shells, helping them to meet like-minded single people without making it all seem too artificial.

Once the speed date has finished, FastLife.com then becomes really useful. You can let the team know who you were interested in, and in turn the other guests will say whether they were interested in meeting you again.

If you and another guest are both interested in each other, you can then view one another’s profiles (including the picture we mentioned early on in the review) and get chatting.

The site claims that more than 90% of its members get at least one match after an event, meaning that your chances of finding someone special are very high indeed.

FastLife claims to offer “the world’s largest range of speed dating and singles events”, and since joining with Plenty of Fish, it has a lot of people visiting to find singles near them.

The great benefit of a site like FastLife is that you get to meet people face-to-face, and the website acts only to help promote events and (later) connect you with people you clicked with.
