HurryDate hosts its signature speed dating and singles parties at selected locations around the USA and Canada each and every week, meaning there’s a good chance of meeting someone perfect for you simply by heading to a nearby city for some fun and flirting! Although users are generally expected to get between 10 and 15 dates during the average HurryDate event, if they get less than 8 potential matches at any event, they receive entrance to their next HurryDate event completely free! Once you have met other members for the first time, you can mark up their SCOREcard, giving your opinions on your date and whether you would like to meet up with them again. Where members both answer in the affirmative, their details are exchanged and they are then free to contact each other at will using a range of online features. The site itself can also prove to be a great place to meet and get to know new people, with users being able to check out user profiles and use the secure mail system to get to know each other better, even before they meet in person.
One of the things that disappointed us a little about this site was that, although charged individually according to the theme, style and location, members are still required to pay an additional subscription fee on top of the party fees in order to use the service. This does have the effect of making this service rather more expensive than many other similar services we have reviewed in this category, with six months membership being charged at around $70 at its cheapest. While the site did have a good range of features and a solid background in bringing people together, we’re still not completely happy with the price of the service (although it should be noted that members do receive a 25% discount on parties!)
Even taking the price of this service into account we were still fairly impressed by the features on offer here – users can make use of a combination of different features (all executed well and to a good standard) to meet and get to know between ten and fifteen single professionals per night (as well as an unlimited number through the online service).
